    Oil temperature gauge

This isn't the R18 but perhaps it can help search out the answer https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/bypass-crankcase-vent-bmw-r1200gs.81378/

I’ve got chatted up by a Diavel.

Nice meet-up! The Diavel is a beautiful beast. My wife wanted me to get one yeats ago becaise she liked the looks. I chose a less-exciting look.

    Auxiliary Light Vibration on TC

On my TC they vibrate constantly but only enough to be (annoyingly) noticeable; not all over like a disco light 😊. It hasn't bothered me enough yet to investigate solutions.

    Valve Cover Fell Off

I'd love to have these on my bike as they look great on our R18's... however, the cost is the equivalent of a house payment for me. I'll pay the mortgage instead 🙄

    Dot4 vs V10

The head mechanic at my dealership told me about the mineral oil-based clutch fluid. I had asked them to change the fluid because it had darkened and, based on years of using standard DOT hydraulic clutch & brake fluid, which is hygroscopic, and a couple of clutch slave cylinder failures on my...

    Another BMW

I waa able to ride them back to backn about 1-2 hours each. It's a bit of an understatement to say I was a little surprised that I preferred the R18 TC over the oh-so-awesome K1600!

    Another BMW

"... low revving torque monster, nothing like the nine-t which revs very quickly with its dual overhead chain driven cams. Definitely nothing like the K1600 baggers smooth as silk 160+ horsepower. I think this bike and I will be great friends." You described a couple of the things that, at 65...

    2023 R18 100 Years vs. R18 Classic Option 719 White

Ride 'em both, back to back. Do you need luggage or not? Both are beautiful so esthetically it's a wash, pick the one that meets your needs.

    Long Ride

That's a long day for me. Anymore, 8-10 hours is enough for me, 12 max! But here is my experience on my '22 TC anyway. For reference, I'm 65 y.o., 5'10" and 230lbs of overweight & outa shape dude with a 30" inseam. Been doing longer (300-500 miles/day) & long distance rides 1-2x/year for past...
