...hour jaunts it will not allow me to make a road trip from my beloved Ft Worth, Texas to say Austin or a trek to OKC. I'm leaning toward the fastback or the Weekender for extended comfort. A simple rear rack will allow me to add a few extras for overnights as the factory bags are somewhat...
...Classic but can't ind the right part No. for the seat that is an inch or so taller. I've looked at (and like the look of) the Roland Sands fastback seat on eBay and it says its a two part seat? Is it stock height or higher/lower?
Im not loving the day rider but could be convinced. The...
...mount, black air intakes and black cylinder head covers without the pin striping. YMMV.
When I was in the dealer yesterday they had a brown Fastback seat hanging on the display wall. It looks WAY better in person than in the catalog. It has a piece of black trim at the back that will tie in...
...A solid $150-200 less than retail+shipping.

I'm also looking to sell my Fastback saddle. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bmw-custom-fastback-seat-r18-2021?sku_id=10003554 While the saddle itself is a substantial upgrade...
Just to follow-up, I returned the weekender seat to Revzilla. It's just too big and I can't get over the look. My backside is doing fine on the Fastback. For the rare instances when Mrs. TodkaVonic and I ride together, I'll switch back to stock. When the bobber kit arrives, I'll sell the Fastback.
...items for a brand new product line with painfully anemic sales.
So yeah, it sucks. We all want stuff for our R18s. I bought a $439 fastback saddle because I couldn't tolerate the stock seat and the weekender wasn't out yet. I got tired of waiting. Ordered the weekender today but now I'm...
Second.
New saddle. Pretty much ANY new saddle. I have the Fastback. It's a significant improvement. Weekender and cross country get great reviews. People even insist that the Roland Sands solo seat is an improvement over stock.
I sat on a few R18s today at the BMW dealership and got a chance to try out the 2-up Day Rider and the one piece Fastback seat. Although I didn’t get to ride test the seats, the Day Rider felt far superior in comfort to the stock. The stock seat has clean lines and looks marvelous though. I also...
Can you tell me if with the Fastback you are higher or lower seated than the stock seat? For example, with the Cross Country I’m too high, and during the stops, my legs are totally straight to reach the floor
I did about 250 miles this past Saturday with the Mustang Fastback saddle. It was my first real riding day of the year. Went down the Mississippi and then over into Minnesota. Beautiful day. About an hour or so between stops. And...No backside pain whatsoever. No numbness at my inner thighs. No...
Yes, after an hour or so, for me, the stock seat was painful at the cheeks and tailbone. And worse still, I found that my inner thighs would go a bit numb too. The fastback seat is softer. I'll update after a longer ride.
