Could you post some additional photos please? Source for pegs? How do these effect the lean angle?

That said, I just went out to the garage and tried to put my feet where they'd be both under the jugs and relatively straightened at the knee, and, man, that's not a great position. It's frog-legged but even more awkward. Maybe a photo of you on the bike.

Wunderlich engine protection and universal long pegs.
knee full extension ^^
That footpeg specifically, not the entire assembly, seems to be a carbon copy (or chrome copy (-: more correctly) of the OEM version installed on my H-D Breakout when I bought it - except that the missing part in the middle tread would have been the H-D logo. I have seen these sell literally for pennies on Amazon and eBay.

If that is indeed what you have purchased, ask yourself how come they can be so cheap. Chinese is one part of the answer. No explicit brand name, squat ownership liability, zero consequence for failures and substandard (by far) castings constitute the other part. A footpeg/floorboard failure while riding is potentially one of the worst things to befall one while travelling with a motorcycle. We have seen several of those on Adventure bikes lately in South Africa - where all 'universal' accessories now barter in from China. - some with dire consequences.

I only buy foot/hand pegs, bars and controls from reputable brands for that reason, even if it costs much more. I have no problem with cheap bling or farkles, but NOT when it comes to anything where a lack of structural integrity could see me or my pillion killed or disabled. Also, the R18 does not actually do 'cheap'.

More pictures please - like someone mentioned maybe with you in the bike and legs on the pegs

please and thank you

Hi, I liked the look of these highway pegs so I checked out the Wunderlich site and they don't appear to be there or did you buy them from another supplier ?. I would appreciate the heads up.

If you're tall enough, some rubber crashbar protectors (https://www.amazon.com/GZYF-Motorcy...xt&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A1FS63AAGWRFVD&gQT=1) might be a cheap option. I've got a set on mine and they're nice to lay my ankles on when I wanna get my legs stretched out a bit.

I rode my 2023 R1800 TC (after the headlight assembly was fixed) from Lake Placid to Atlanta.
My comrade was astride a 2023 Harley Street Glide. When we reached Atlanta, he was ready for a new
pair of boots (the ones he started the ride with literally fell off his feet), and I was hot to trot for some footpegs
after 3300 miles of riding. I asked the HD service department to identify and install a pair. They tried for two hours
and couldn't fit any of their footpegs. And they gave the HD try.
I love the piano black jugs on my TC, but there's no way my 69-year-old legs are going to rest on top
of the R1800 leg rests that mount on top of the jugs.
What are we to do?

I always just rest my legs on the jugs, when it's safe to do so. Do that on my 1150 and now on the 1800. I were tall riding boots and never have a problem with the heat off the jugs.

What kind of boots? Always looking for more options for my feet.

TCX. I don't know which model and I've had them for probably 15 years or so. I looked on Revzilla and didn't see an exact match, though the Trail may be close. The boots are from my offroading days on the GS. They cover my calf, Goretex and leather, close with velcro and an adjustable plastic latch mechanism. I should probably update my boots but these are very well broken in and I'm comfortable in them. I air them out well and clean and treat the leather a couple times a year. They are holding up very well.
