I'm also a sailor.
I've sailed twice all the east coast , from Key west up to Maine on my schooner. In 2007 and 2015.
Puget sound and the Strait of Georgia are on my plans , but not on my own boat, too far.
This area looks gorgeous.

What a beautiful boat you have. If you are interested in sailing the gulf islands there are a number of good boat rental agencies. We have used Cooper boating out of Sidney, BC and had very good service.
