There are four 10mm threaded holes on the underside of the notocycle, 2 st the front of the engine and 2 ar the back uf the trabnission specifically for the installation a lift jig.R18 and classic use the adapter to secure jack mount point.so we can work under safe and easier. Because R18 frame mount design is way different to other motorcycle.
The Amazon Scissor jack with some 10mm studs work perfectly, see pictures, with 2 of the jacks and 4 studs both wheels can be removed at the same time, or the goke lifted high enough to make oil changes a simple matter. Since I already had the jacks the cost was essentially zero for me. Just cut the heads off four 10mm bolts. They're both terrific. Black Dog, you modified your universal jack effectively and it sounds like it worked flawlessly. You have access to all sorts of amazing tools and machine shop stuff that others don't, and you make great use of it. Niechiamao, would it be correct to say that a person could buy the adaptor (BMW part 83 30 5 A 24474) and use it with most scissors jacks?
/still can't find it. A few German sites. No description. Link?
