Added some engine bling, tank pouch, fork mounted wind deflectors, and a Shark Road exhaust.

Which side deflectors did you get? Could you post or DM the links? I have seen threads citing deflectors for other motorcycles which fit - so looking to confirm that. And not sure if you've had a chance to ride it yet but did those help with head buffeting over 65-70mph+? (If you even experienced it before)

With the help of you all, I made a couple of changes today.

Fender extender on the classic, fork mounted Lowers on the bagger.

Installed this winglets I purchased on eBay from a shop in Japan. I must admit, I am really pleased with them. Non retractable but that’s ok. Very transparent, almost unnoticeable if it wasn’t for the salt dust from the roads.

It would be interesting to share thoughts about the ride differences these wheel sizes offer.

My brother traded his HD RoadGlide for an Indian because the smaller 16” wheel had a meatier tire. According to him the extra rubber absorbed bumps making a smoother ride. The RoadGlide had a larger rim surrounded by a narrow tire.
Personally I have favored the larger wheel in spite of one drawback. Turning a corner at 10 or 15 mph with a large front wheel requires more armwrestling with the bars. The rotational momentum of a large radius wheel is noticeably harder to overcome.

So, I was looking at the new 2025 Model B (checking for a friend...); it appears that it can be ordered with larger wheels, which includes a modified Front Fender to accommodate the 21" Front Wheel. New Wheels: Rear 18" from 16" Front 21" from 19"

That is nice..... problem in our market is that ordering a specific bike costs much closer to ""full retail" then buying one on the floor where they are heavily discounted (knowing the price will correct to lowish secondhand 1 minute after taking ownership!)

Were you valves in spec at 7500 or did you have to make adjustments? My R12GS has held it's valve adjustment in spec for 30k miles, I keep expecting to have to get new shims but haven't yet. Curious how my R18 will do.

I would assume has a lot to do with driving conditions too.. on my E30 the valves stayed in check for more than 40k… was driven like a gramps. While others were doing it every 20k

It's all back together and running great. valves sound better than pre-adjustment. I changed all the fluids too. The only thing I don't like, sounds like alternator drive belt is a little squeaky sounding/dry. Anybody run into this? I may need a little silicone on it to quiet the thing up but see no way to get to it.
