What did you do to your R18 today?

I didn't weigh the actual item, but the shipping weight with a pretty stout box was 2 pounds. It was thicker and more robust than I was expecting, pretty light and well machined. I ordered it from Revzilla.

Oh, my mistake. I saw two pictures and I thought it was the cilinders covers. Anyway, yes, revzilla has this item but not the others (yet). Beautiful finish of your bike. Thanks

p.d. I always ask about the weight because the freight to my country is valuated in dollars per kilogram

not today but yesterday's work

Thank you. I was set to order one but the shipping price kinda took my breath away. It doubles the price. I know it’s not something you can control. Maybe, it’ll be worthwhile to buy several things (I already like the tank pad) to save on shipping? Or maybe we could organize a group buy?

I'd be down for a set of tank pads. The pads are 41 euros and the shipping to CA is 120 euros.

3M protective tape between rubber pillion seat feet and rear fender.

I put a little talc on the rubber feet to sort out exactly where they landed. The result is not super pretty but it's effective.

Nate

That's a great idea to use talc to determine the places where the rubber pads touch. I used your method and placed a double layer of clear packaging tape in those 4 spots to protect the paint.
