Great job! I've wanting to this. You just motivated me to pull the trigger. Looks an OEM kit except for the shifter arm. Do you have a link for that?

I swapped pegs for boards also. But on the left side, the bracket that holds the gear shift axle did not have a sleeve in it like the foot peg bracket did.
So to compensate for the sloppy play, I inserted a thin plastic bushing.
All is good. The boards provide a sense of secure riding.

I have a 2023 R18.
The kickstand works fine after the switch to boards.
The left side bracket was missing a sleeve that held the gear shift axle so I inserted a plastic bushing.

A few changes in the last week. I dislike cats. The dog definitely hates them.
Tried to download exhaust sound file ; to big for here. Put on Facebook : ‘ BMW R18 CUSTOM ‘ site.

Received all of the Roland Sands pieces from Adam yesterday - "Thank you"; installed everything last night on the FE Bobber project bike, except the mirrors and Alternator Cover trim piece - which I'll do when I install the LMC Oil Cooler...

Installed the Roland Sands Mirrors on the R18 B, which is bike jewelry that I've been pinning over for a long time - even prior to the price increase, which has more than doubled...

Adjusted the mirrors on an early ride into work this morning...

Getting ready to perform the canister ectomy as soon as the valve arrives from Athens Greece. Have done the exhaust flap ectomy earlier.
Funny, on my R18 ride to work today (28 mi) the bike was terrific. Smooth all the way. But somehow BMW over engineers things like exhaust flaps. These ectomy procedures should not have to be.

Roadstyler backrest and rack came in today. Had a buddy help me so I didn't need to unplug the wires to the bag. Well built!View attachment 15800View attachment 15801
I've got my roadstyler backrest sitting in a box in the garage for almost a year now! Bought it to have something to strap my sissy bar bag to, but got another bag that didn't require a sissy bar. Didn't really want to have to put on and take off the backrest kit, as I don't want it on unless I was using a bag. I'm impressed by the build of the kit though, and really like their front and rear crash bars (those ARE installed on the bike!).
