I have been playing with my windscreen to try and reduce the helmet shake I am experiencing. I had three vertebra fused years ago from a hang gliding accident I was in many years ago, so I don't tolerate helmet shaking well.

I was over at my son's business a few days ago. He owns two Bell 206 Long Ranger helicopters. I saw the snap vents on the side windows and it made me remember the snap vents that used to come on the old Vetter Windjammer fairings years ago. I ordered two of these snap vents from an aviation supply company and installed them in my windscreen. I found that adding these vents has cut down on the turbulence greatly. With these vents open it allows the air to travel about two-inches higher and over my head when before the turbulence caught me at the top of my forehead. These are n to too hard to install - requires cutting two 3 1/4" holes in the windscreen. Here is a picture

Did you bought the shorter or the higher windshield from POWER BRONZE? Also how did you find the finish of this product around the edge, the thickness of this one then the OEM one? Me I found some issue with that so I used some rubber washers on the screws!

I got the standard height Powerbronze as I want t o look over the windscreen. Quality is decent. The edges are not as smooth as other manufacturers but not terrible - looks like they may be using a water jet cutter. The edges are easy to fix however with a light sanding and a quick going over with a MAP gas torch. The price was right - clarity is good as well as the fit.

I think you used just the proper words for that, decent quality and a good price, making the difference with the ones from China. I just want to see the opinion of another user, just for me not filing the only one which I think so!
