What did you do to your R18 today?

Looks slick and don't want to rain on your parade here, though.
My concern is what will happen if you have a oil temp problem or a warranty issue with over heating?Even adding a aftermarket cover on the oem cooler could be a issue.
I would like to see the fuctionally and efficency numbers if this really helps or hurts.
But hey,after its only money🤡
This is the other issue, unlike the OEM cooler with fins, air can’t really pass through the LMC cooler as far as I can tell so no way of knowing how it performs.

That's a very slick looking oil cooler... Looks like they make it in a chrome plated and some sort of dull bronze color; was the installation straight forward ? (mounting points, oil lines, etc.) Have you noticed any degraded or improved cooling performance vs the stock OEM cooler?

I ordered the middle color. I received black. Lang's solution was for me to send it back to Germany (I'm in the US) & he would send the correct color and a check to cover shipping. I'll be installing the black one. I believe I'm not the only member that has had this issue.

When I ordered my seat from LMC I inserted pictures into the body of the email. I thought that would avoid any miscommunication in the translation. I ended up getting the wrong style seat anyways. It was close enough to keep it because shipping it back would take an inordinate amount of time.
I have a rear fender and numerous other parts from LMC in transit right now. I have my fingers crossed that everything arrives as ordered.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like it has an oil reservoir and relies on the heat sink fin design to cool the body of oil?

Just an update on my post # 1551 where I installed the Wunderlich risers. I put a few miles on them this weekend and it is much more comfortable. Just to give reference I am about 5’2” so OEM was just out of my comfort zone. This is of of my top additions to the bike, along with my weekender seat.

i am particularly interested in the results of the exhaust servo delete. I initially thought that I didn’t like the fishtails and would replace them immediately, however, they’re growing on me although I would like some more grunt from the exhaust. I don’t want it to sound cheap either, nor exceedingly loud. Please give more reviews when you can about your feelings of the servo delete.
Combined with the DNA stage 2 filter, I think you’ll be happy. Had a long ride today and it’s better than standard that’s for sure. I will probably still change the exhaust on mine but it was nice to have a consistent sound from the back of the bike. Bum dyno felt the pick-up was better too. The eliminators were just under £80 for both, worth a try before dropping four figures on an exhaust imo.

Did you reprogrammed the ECU or anything like that, do you need to ? For DNA stage 2 or anything like that ? Thnx

what bag mounts are those and what rear passenger backrest please?
Those are the bag mounts that come with the SW Motech Kit. The rear passenger backrest is a generic that I purchased for $99 to test fitment and really like it.. I figured that at $100 I could buy 5 of them until I get the the OEM price of one. So far I love the quality of it. The wife approves and thats worth a lot! It is a but more leaned back than I would hope but it matches the lines of the bike in person much better than in pictures. I also have a plan to make my own cushion. I want to take the padding to my guy and make it have some wings in a way. Currently if you lay it on a table it looks like this _____ but I want to make it more like this \___/ if that makes sense. In my modified way it will hug the person better and I will do it in matching leather that comes in the weekender seat and have my shop logo embroidered in the seat too! Even if I spend $300 on this cushion mod I feel like Im getting ultra bang for my buck.

You went with the Black color, looks pretty good .. I was on the fence between the Chrome vs Black color..

Did you self install or have the service shop do it? If done by BMW, what did they charge?

Where was the controller and select button mounted?
