I’m on a one-bike diet which is overseen by my wife!
Loved the B but it wasn’t the best commuter or errand running vehicle.
Plus they’re cutting deals on the old GSs in advance of the 1300’s arrival. Ben Stratton made me a good offer.
I didn’t know there was a problem with the headlight...
I’m pretty sure you own my old bike. It’s got the old school first edition roundels. I traded it in with MAX BMW for a GS.
It has a bit over 2k miles on it.
I treated it very well and hope you will love it!
I actually sold my R18B several weeks ago.
My very first post on this forum was to ask what folks thought about using an R18 as one’s only bike. I loved the look of the R18 and appreciated BMW’s bold move to make it.
After commuting, running errands, and pleasure riding on mostly secondary...
I don’t know anyone who has ever bought a motorcycle for anything other than passion.
No point in beating up yourself or BMW for that.
You have a wonderful bike with low mileage.
Let’s keep riding and making memories!
My bike is at the dealer for service now.
Perhaps people already know this, but my ‘22 B has a service bulletin: driveshaft needs greasing, according to BMW.
Update: no valve check needed given mileage (2,300).
Oil change, codes cleared, top fluids=$250.
Brake fluid flush=$200
MAX estimate is $450 for my annual service.
I’ve booked the annual service next week.
Owner’s manual says 6k miles OR one year. I have 2500 miles on the bike (life intruded on my riding this year).
Do I need the valve clearance checked?
