Im so confused; I'll call Monday to see if it is actually available and if it retrofits the first edition

I isolated a video of the bobber I took for some still shots. Sorry about the poor photo quality. Bobber seat sits much higher than stock seat on our bikes. They also had the beach bars, so quite a different feel.

And now I'm not really liking the turn signals. Really jutting out there. Thanks for the photos.

In person, the bobber was beautiful. i agree the pictures make the turn signals look like they are sticking out, but I didn’t have that impression/feeling seeing it in the flesh.

thanks for the shots! Can you post a video?

I contacted them, here is their answer :

" Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, the single seat is not yet available yet. Here in the USA we have an estimated delivery of November.
We do not ship internationally nor do we ship to freight forwarders at this time. I would recommend placing this part on backorder with your local dealership in order to get the part as soon as it becomes available "

For a seat?
After over a year?
Backordered?
Again?
Really?
Remember, the seat is only one part of the assembly?

Predicted availability (from March, 2021) for this Wave 3 item was August-September. Now it’s looking like November. Shrug.

Not knowing when the R18 Homage seat will be available, I decided to buy a R25 seat and try to adapt it.

Initially, I wanted to install it complete with the spring suspension, but the resulting seat position was too high and not aesthetic.
Finally, the spring support legs have been cut off, and the seat was installed fixed with temporary supports.

The seat position is a little higher than the original one, and slightly forward.
It is also shorter in length, and surprisingly rather confortable (but I don't find the original seat uncomfortable compared to my previous bike !!
I like to be closer to the handlebars, I'am 1.75m and my arms are not stretched which is relaxing.
I have also to get used to the position of the feet on the brake pedal, also slightly forward.

More riding tests are necessary before confirming the right position and finalizing the seat supports
