I'm usually on the other end of being convinced I need a new part or piece of kit. Freddie Dobbs and other Youtube content is a common culprit. My wife calls these ‘bad influences.’ I suppose I'm a bad influence on r18forums.com now.

The one I have listed is 10€ shipped so I am tolerant with quality. Also like it being unbranded.
Ah and have taken the Molija off again.

Will share more photos of the faux ignition thingamies when I have them. It is the more compact one form the IFA/MZ which is also closed at the underside so easily fitted.
The black bit slides forward so potentially giving the option for the key too.





I have btw also found the original tyre pump:





Most of the parts for old BMWs are very easy to find over here and none too costly.
It helps if you know the correct name in German as it all comes from thataway.

fitted the vintage (fake) ignition lock. It looks the part compared to the original R50:
Note the UK tax disc to the left of the head lamp. In Germany it was a sticker on the license plate. I have the Spanish thingamy.
