I’m eager to get your report on this screen.

I'll know tomorrow. I decided to take the GS out today and explore some back roads and get lost in some corn fields. It was a good day for being out in the woods under a canopy of trees. I'll hop on the R18 tomorrow afternoon and explore and do a bit of interstate riding.

Alright, did a 150 mile ride today. 86-90 degrees out and did 30 to 85 MPH. As said before, everyone's torso length, helmet type & head size are all different. Some slouch, some sit up right, etc etc etc so every windscreen will be different but at 6'3" with a 32" inseam and a Shoei Neotec II, the air basically hits right at the air inlet on top of my head so right like a quarter an inch under the top of my helmet which is perfect.

All of the air now and turbulence I coming from the lack of winglets or leg aero (TC features) so it's not zero air like it is on my GS Adventure but it's very close to zero.

At 6’3” you are looking over the screen right?

I've been on the fence but I think I will order it today in the dark smoke.

Just for you I rode to Starbucks and am still enjoying the 20" over the stock bagger and the 18" Rurock screens. I put about 2500 miles on the stock bagger screen and 500 or so miles on the 18" and about 100 so far on the 20" Have some fall trips planned and just added a sheep skin seat to the bagger + the trans con seat so it's a nice place to sit now.

Good to know. I am 6'1 so I reckon the 20 will work for me. The stock screen is pretty low and I get a decent amount of wind once I am over 90kph, granted I havent used my new Arai on the bike yet.

I installed the 20-in clear screen today. I'm 6'2", 34" inseam and have a tall seat on my R18 B. I see well above the screen, 6 in maybe. I ride with a modular helmet flipped up, and the wind coverage is perfect. It may take some getting used to the distortion in looking through the lower portions of the screen where it is curved, and there does appear to be a peculiarly different wind noise coming from it.. but both of those are small prices to pay for having great wind coverage.

I installed the 20" and the coverage is much better than stock. I'm 6'4" with a tall torso, so I wish there was a 22" still offered - that would be about perfect for me. Like Nathan, I see well above the windscreen.

Huge difference as you can see, I’ll test ride it tomorrow and see how she goes. I’m about 50/50 looking over and through, so I hope the dark tint isn’t too much of an issue on darker days.

Thank you (whoever did it first) for posting the 7Jurock name here .. My 'Classic' windshield was buffeting really bad ... ordered a taller version with the ''flip' option and it made a massive improvement!!

By the way .. you know you are a creature of habit when you cut a groove into the parking lot ... the wider groove is from the 'Chromehead' .. but the R18 is starting to make her mark as well .. guess I always use the same spot .. sigh

So after a few more rides, I don’t think this screen is working. The 20” cuts right at my eye like and I’m finding I have to sit up much taller and that puts a strain on my back. Going up a slight incline and I see nothing at all.

Pretty disappointed of course. I doubt Jurok would take this back or do anything for this.
