Done with essential Farkling today; added Wunderlich backrest, Puig 0336H Windshield, and BMW/RSD Head Cover trim - Time to ride!

You’re going to hate that Puig windshield. Turbulence direct to the helmet. Sorry 
The advantage of these screens, Puig or other aftermarket ones, is they are adjustable.
I set mine "by eye" at the same angle than the OEM, and was very close to ideal, I just had to make small moves to be ok.
I can reach 180 km/h with no buffeting.
The pilot himself participate to the aerodynamic, so adjustability is mandatory for windshields.
My R1200C Montauk, came with a fixed screen. I had to add two risers on the upper bolts to have it rotating to the front to reach the right angle. .
I was thinking about buying the nice but non adjustable BMW one but now I see the trouble....
I bought this super cheap one in grey.
I had to add two SS rods in the lower part to keep it stable though.
So it's solid and looks good enough.

Agreed - I think the cyl heads look naked/unfinished without them.
I liked the convex mirror mod so much that I repeated it on the other side.

Mirrors blind spot
I'm really concerned by the blind spot in the mirror. So I use to put these small additional mirrors in the main ones. But the round OEM mirror is too small to accommodate them. Does anybody have found compatible mirrors , bigger, oval, and beautiful, allowing to glue the additional mirror ...

I did 3 things today:
- I tuned the R18 panniers by adding a leather element
- I replaced the original plastic valve cap with an aluminum one
- I bought leather luggage straps

yes it's RSD. I really like the design. and comfort much better than the original
