Thanks for the tip. I searched up and down and couldn’t find that thread. User error obviously. Other one already ordered. If the Dealer says they don’t have any in stock,I’ll order that one.
 
Really like the GPS mount is it stand alone or a part of the windshield?
 
So I couldn’t stand the cheap look of the exhaust from the rear with the bright silver look and visible screws holding on the end cap and thus did something about it yesterday using barbecue paint rated for 1200 degrees. This blacked out look IMHO looks much better.

You can also turn the end caps.

That answers my question it is only compatible with a Wunderlich windshield. Too bad I have been searching for a mount for the Garmin ZUMO XT.6D3E125D-D627-460E-955D-0E440725B575.webp

I'm not sure I agree....at least not for me. I may be in the minority, but I find that a GPS screen, particularly when it's big, is distracting and doesn't add much value. I find that the safest and most reliable way to navigate is to link my phone to my headset and just listen to the directions. It's really very good nowadays. Directions from connected devices are almost always better than standalone devices and I'd rather have my eyes on the road than on a screen. I have an R1250GS with the OEM Garmin device, and while I do let the thing do its moving map thing, I don't pay much attention to it. In-ear directions are much better. Having a relatively small and out of the way map is nice for situational awareness, but I would actively avoid a large screen that's front and center.

I too,like my iPhone for gps.
My R18C did'nt come with gps but I wired the bike for the phone.
I do use the gps on my 2017 Indian but does not alert to traffic issues.The other day,I went to look at the new 22 Indian Roadmaster with CarPlay.Not for me.It reminded me of getting a new cell phone.Just to many bells & whistles I don't use.
Also,on the Indian forum folks are complaining about glitches in the new gps/ridecommand system.
 
After two weeks maps are once again working on my TC TFT screen. :confused: Oddly as soon as I decided to ride out to my dealer all was well after topping off my fuel tank.

Situation still concerns me. For all I know the issue could be related to my cell phone? I do wish that nav and other features weren't depending on a cell phone being connected. But I knew this prior to purchasing my TC. Two of my three stops yesterday I had folks stopping to compliment the bike and ask questions about it. Oddly that never happened when I rode my Goldwing! 😲

Something I learned from the many years I owned an R1200C......best not to use high pressure water on a motorcycle. It can adversely affect electrical components/switches.
