What did you do to your R18 today?

Very nice in my opinion. I have Rizoma bar end mirrors that are also fitted below the level of the handlebar, which I like the look of a great deal. But from a practical point of view my wrists often get in the way of the view of the mirrors, so not ideal. This set-up would appear to be better, and has the added benefit of retaining the bar end weights, which I like the look of and miss with my set-up. What mirrors did you choose?
thanks Guys, a little concern is.......It vibrate a little bit at high speed, any solution or recommendation how to Fix it?

Take a look at the Billtwell mirrors. I used them mounted below my beach bars and they are rock-solid as well as being equal in quality to an OEM mirror.

Possibly the mirror vibration is resultant of either the length or actually the lack of length in the mirror stem, or possibly the fact that the stem does not screw into a threaded hole ? Just some thoughts

I assume a threaded stem would be more secure than a stem dropped into a hole and then tightened at its end ? who knows ? guessing ??

Slow down? 😂

The stock mirrors seem to vibrate at higher rpms, it’s a character of the bike and not sure there’s much you can do to change that? Afaik the bar risers are solid mounted which won’t help.

First service knocked out, finished Clearwater Erica install. Ready for some more night rides.

Got half way through installing the DNA Stage 2 filter kit only to find that my cover didn’t come with the necessary bolts 🤦🏼🙄 I’ve contacted the seller but they’re shut until Monday so will have to wait.

**You use the stock screws to install the cover.(WRONG)
Sometimes the threaded boss will come out and you will need to re-seat the boss into the plastic base.
If you need my help,PM me.

**oops, There are screws that come with the cover,my mistake.I forgot about the screws that I posted with the open DNA cover.

I was under the impression the standard bolts would be used. However, it was your pics I found which made me realise I was definitely missing the required t25 bolts as shown which was backed up when I actually bothered to pull the instructions out of the box and they’re referenced there too. My bosses remained in place on removal thankfully!

wouldn't standard M6 allen bolts work for you then? On the R18 a mysterious mix of allen and torx is used...specially if you install after market stuff; that usually comes with allen bolts (eg cylinder head cover decoration...

Possibly, I haven’t removed the frame from the packaging incase I need to return it so haven’t figured out what it needs. Plenty of T25 torx bolts available but I don’t know what diameter or length I need without doing that. Hopefully I’ll get an answer at some point tomorrow.

also, I noticed that just now on that picture, they are not flat on the bottom side... they are seated very flat into the housing... must be a reason for that... allen's don't have that hight reducing feature

After being driven crazy by a black caliper on the rear and chrome calipers on the front ... bye bye chrome calipers! I also took the opportunity to black out the ignition coil covers and intake covers.
