Wind deflectors on TC

I just took a dremel to the winglets to clear the turn signals. An inexpensive alternative especially if you like the OEM front turn signals.

Hello Wreckit,

Did trimming the winglets appear to make them less effective? Is your windshield comparable to the TC size?

I've got a B that I'm trying to make more tolerable. I'm 5'10".

I had a TC back in 2022 and discovered it had the best wind management of any bike I've ever owned. If I had a B, I would put the TC screen on it with the winglets.
As to why I don't have the TC now.....It was a bit too much bike for me. I am riding an R18 base now and am content. The wind management on my R18 is also terrific because of the Jurock 18" and fork deflectors from Memphis Shades. No buffeting or turbulence for me in my current set-up.

For the Bagger, I needed fork lowers and deflectors on the fairing (see pic). I now have the TC and wind management is excellent straight from the factory.

Those are the same as fit on the Classic right?

For those of you living in populated areas, any plastics company will professionally cut, shorten, taper, or alter the deflectors to fit your bike. They charge me $100 per job but do professional work. LusterCraft Plastics might be in many states, I don't know.

I have the deflectors from the TC on my bagger and they work well. Not haveing any luck finding the
2023 R18 Classic option 719 deflectors. Do you have a number for this part by any chance.
