What did you do to your R18 today?

That is diffidently an awesome modification. But comes with a difficult install and expensive.
It's a pretty installation. I took me about 45 minutes all in. Just time it around an oil change since you have to drain the oil out to perform the work.

What is the cost including shipping? And a link to it please

Some photos that highlight a few recent changes.

1. RSD Wheels. These are tubeless (stock wheels used tubes). What I did not realize was the fact that you also need to order valve stems in addition to the wheels (they were not included with mine).
2. Masked windshield with black mounting hardware. (A note on this- the windshield would not install correctly without the factory headlight mount. My bike came with a slightly different 3d printed mount for the headlight. An easy way to spot the difference is the 3d version has a much shorter stem. The photo here is of the factory mount which I had to get to make it fit)
2a. Also shown here is the windscreen bag mounted. You will note there is no view interference with the cluster.
3. RSD Reservoir covers. Super easy install.
4. RSD headlight ring. Super easy install once the headlight was off the bike.
5. Garmin Zumo XT mount (this is now hardwired to the bike for power). The unit shuts off after about 2 minutes or so when the bike is turned off.
6. Hepco rugged saddlebags (no mounts yet, they are on order still). Admittedly I am a little torn with these. I was not liking the idea of black bags originally because I wanted a more natural looking leather. These seemed to fit the bill when ordering but they are a little lighter brown than I would like. Would love to hear opinions on these bags from others here. I am not sure yet if I want to try and exchange them for black bags.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, Layla was the name of my German Shepard who sadly passed away just before I got the bike.

i like everything you have done especially the RSD products. I am sorry I can’t say I like the bags, they really aren’t bad and they look nostalgic but they seem offensive to the eye. Sorry don’t mean to offend you, but you asked Us to tell you what we think..

HanseDavion I love those Roland Sands rims. I have the clutch and brake covers on my Classic and those rims would be an excellent addition. While I really like having saddlebags it’s too bad that the rear wheel is covered up. Your rear wheel is gorgeous. Now I’m afraid to find out what that upgrade would cost.

Received my new engine plaques from Portland water jet.

I ordered two of these in stainless steel and two aluminum backing plates. I'll paint those black so the Shtupp really pops.

/yeah, I've named my R18 LilI Von Shtupp

///get your friggin feet off the stage!

For anyone who would like to do something similar, I worked with Niko at Portland Waterjet. He was terrific. Told me that I'm the fourth person making custom engine emblems. I did the outer plates (the LV Shtupp ones) in stainless 3/16th inch thick and did the backing plates in aluminum 1/16 inch thick. They can't bevel the screw holes as per the original. The total, sandwiched, is the same thickness as the oem plates. I'll either powercoat or paint the backing plates. I'll post photos when done, but that's the idea.

Any idea what they will charge for these?
