Crylon RedNeck Chrome. What paint did you use?
Rust Oleum Bright Coat Metallic Finish. I won't be able to speak to how well it holds up until I put some miles on it and throw some rocks at it.What paint did you use?
That looks perfect but comes with one hell of a price tag.
That is diffidently an awesome modification. But comes with a difficult install and expensive.
Expensive, yes. But not difficult at all and it’s reversible. That is diffidently an awesome modification. But comes with a difficult install and expensive.
It's a pretty installation. I took me about 45 minutes all in. Just time it around an oil change since you have to drain the oil out to perform the work. That is diffidently an awesome modification. But comes with a difficult install and expensive.

Any idea what they will charge for these? For anyone who would like to do something similar, I worked with Niko at Portland Waterjet. He was terrific. Told me that I'm the fourth person making custom engine emblems. I did the outer plates (the LV Shtupp ones) in stainless 3/16th inch thick and did the backing plates in aluminum 1/16 inch thick. They can't bevel the screw holes as per the original. The total, sandwiched, is the same thickness as the oem plates. I'll either powercoat or paint the backing plates. I'll post photos when done, but that's the idea.
The order was $160 shipped.Any idea what they will charge for these?
