I have the cross country seat on mine and got to go for my first ride on Monday (summer) and I loved it. Has anybody heard when the windshields and mounts are going to be availible?

"Hopefully tomorrow will be a nice day and we'll both take it for a ride. It would be the first time that my wife rides the R18. Up until now, she has spurned the stock seat as punishment that she would not endure for any distance. I can't blame her. Mustang has come to the rescue."
Its the same for me. We have a Gold wing and she loves it. If I can get her as comfortable on the Classic, then I can sell the gold wing (barge)I faced the same problem ...
Hoping the Corbin Dual Touring Saddle to come soon will make the deal with my sweet heart
Let's hope that the seat upgrade shows up at the same time as the bike. My Weekender came almost 2 months after the bike. In that case, you might want to hold off sending the OEM seat to Russel. Its the same for me. We have a Gold wing and she loves it. I ordered my bike today with a seat upgrade. I am taking the stock seat and sending it to Russel.

what is that??!!Yesterday was my birthday, so the woman of my dreams gave me the Roland Sands Design replacement Rocker Covers that have been carefully hidden in plain sight for the past month. And this morning I got a call from Pandora European Motorsports in Chattanooga, informing me that the Weekender Seat has arrived. The results are below. And we are both thrilled.

That looks great. I am a huge fan of Mustang® seats. The bike needs a passenger back-rest now. It is hard work being a pillion without one, especially as we advance in years.Yesterday was my birthday, so the woman of my dreams gave me the Roland Sands Design replacement Rocker Covers that have been carefully hidden in plain sight for the past month. Steering damper.what is that??!!
I cancelled the order on the OEM bobber kit. I will sit this one out as well until I can physically see it installed and read some feedback on a forum or elsewhere. I seriously suspect that the seat is located too far forward on the OEM version and that one will need handlebars with less rise, like those being sold by Walzwerk® already. I am not convinced that combo will tickle my fancy. Download these two images and then flip between them to appreciate the seating positions. I also added beach bars to the one featuring the bobber kit to illustrate how outrageous that would be.That is great. So, you probably keep the solo racks installed most of the time - which presents very well on both. I have two OEM seat combos for my Indian Chief; a heated double-seat and the original front seat with a solo rack attached. I use the latter when riding it alone, which is not often on the Indian, though. My wife has never been interested in riding on her own. She has been riding pillion with me for forty-four years now. But she will only ride along now when a back-rest is installed.
I intend to install the OEM bobber kit on my R18. I have ordered it, in fact. It is NOT cheap, and I am petrified that the seating position is too far forward and/or too high. This is better IMHO, but the rendering is too industrial again; besides, it will probably cost twice what that OEM kit has shaken me for: https://www.r18forums.com/threads/customs-r18.144/post-2298.
You've circled the steering damper on my R18. It seems that only the models that have cruise control get them.what is that??!!
My wife and I already like the Mustang "Weekender" seat, even though we haven't gone down the road on it yet. It's freakin' cold out there today and the next time that I'll have an opportunity to ride will be on Tuesday. The weather is forecasted to be much warmer then too. That looks great. nice! could you provide photos of the installation process? I'm looking at those or the Moto gadget bar end signals. I have the latter on my Guzzi and they work well.today I received spacers for Kellermann blinkers
Looks like the same as on the bike wiring harness on the license plate light plug as well.nice! could you provide photos of the installation process? I'm looking at those or the Moto gadget bar end signals. I have the latter on my Guzzi and they work well.
/installation without cutting wires would be amazing
//here's the connector, but I think we need the other side...
The luggage rack is nice. where did you get the rack?Today the BMW Day Rider seat with back rest arrived so it is installed. It has much improved padding on the rear pad over the stock seat, although it won't get used in our case. The drivers seat is just what we hoped for with a more contoured edges and the foam seems to be softer. The quality is very good but I wish it didn't cost so much, $1200 US? Here is what is looks like.
It is made by Motherwell and is sold at https://newbonneville.com/shop/chrome-solo-rack/The luggage rack is nice. where did you get the rack?
