In my experience, the R18B needs to be manhandled and heavily counterbalanced to make slow tight turns (within two parking spaces or 18')
The hard to reach rear brake pedal does not help. I'll drag the front brake a little which helps but requires a very delicate touch.

Slow speed maneuverability is not good. Not going to sugar coat it. The "friction zone" is hard to manage and the back brake is tucked up under the cylinder making it hard to reach (for rear brake drag.)
Infotainment sucks....really only good for bluetooth.
Vibration is massive between about...
The R18 doesn't have the best "gray area" clutch friction zone for slow tight uturns. Also, I find it hard to drag the rear brake due to the lever position. I have been able to complete figure 8s inside four parking stalls though. Really need to be good with your head and eyes and she loves...
Thanks for the replies. Looks like you have to take the whole front fairing off to access the headlight mounts. I'll make another appointment with the dealer.
Had my adaptive headlight replaced on my R18B recently. I was cleaning the bike yesterday and noticed that the headlight is a little loose. Its just like a 1/4" of "play" at the bottom of the headlight. Not sure if this is normal.
My R18B with the adaptive headlight did the same thing. Something completely came loose in the headlight housing and the dealer had to order a new headlight ($3,000.) Headlight was backordered and took a couple months to come in. Dealer said another customer had the same problem.
I'm also about 6-1 with a 34" inseam. My R18B became noticeably smoother after 1k miles. A taller windscreen and lower wind shades also greatly reduced the terrible highway speed buffetting. If I could do it all over again, I would purchase a TC over the bagger. The TC's wind protection parts...
I added "Memphis Shades" lower wind deflectors to my R18B. I had to modify the brackets to fit my bike as they dont make them for the R18 yet. They took care of about 85% of that lower wind buffeting.
I paid 20k OTD for my R18B First Edition. It was a demo with about 200 miles. Just put 1200 miles on it in two days. Most comfortable bike I've ever owned.
